HONEYDAZEEE

Hi, I'm Honey! I'm a digital illustrator specializing in character design and storytelling.

Commission status: OPEN

Terms of Service

The following Terms of Service may be subject to revision without notice and are applicable to non-commercial/personal projects only.

General Guidelines

  • By commissioning me, you agree to have read and fully agreed to my terms of service.

  • I retain all rights to my work, which include but are not limited to the right to distribute, reproduce, copy and/or use the image as a sample for sales or self-promotion.

  • I do NOT authorise the use of the commissioned artwork to mint an NFT or to train any AI.

  • I reserve the right to refuse any commission. Any disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated.

  • All prices listed on my commission sheet act as a starting point, and are subject to change depending on the complexity of the character design, background or other additional elements.

  • If you have an idea for a project not listed on my commission sheet, or for a larger project (e.g. comic, character design, short animation, 3D model), I'm open to a discussion and can provide an estimate.

Payment Policy

  • I only accept payments through PayPal in USD. All invoices will be sent by me through PayPal as well.

  • I use a 50/50 payment structure. A deposit of 50% of the total cost is required before I begin your commission, and another 50% before I send the final piece.

  • All payments must be made before the final piece is delivered.

  • Payment plans may be negotiated for returning customers.

Commission Process

My workflow, as well as general updates you’ll receive while you have commissioned me, is as follows–

Initial Stage

  • A discussion will take place on your messaging service of choice, wherein you’ll describe the type of commission you want, provide references for characters, as well as any information regarding the piece you feel will help me understand your vision. Please provide as much information as you can.

  • At this time, I will likely ask you questions about what you want.

  • “Artistic Freedom” commissions are allowed, but I will probably still ask you questions and make sure the direction I am going in is something you will enjoy.

  • Once a written agreement is made and I am given the green light, I will send you your first invoice.

Sketch Stage

  • Once I have received your first payment, I will begin working on sketches. Depending on what we discussed in the Initial stage, you may receive one or several sketches for approval.

  • Up to 2 major revisions are allowed at this stage. (Additional revisions will incur a charge.)

Ink/Color Stage

  • Once the sketch is approved, the next update you receive will show the ink and color progress, if applicable.

  • Up to 2 minor revisions are allowed at this stage.

Render/Final Stage

  • The final update you receive will showcase the final render or finishing touches.

  • Revisions are not allowed at this stage.

  • At any point in the process, feel free to ask for an update to see where I am at.

Delivery

  • I strive to be as timely as possible. A piece can take me up to 3 days, a week, or several weeks depending on the complexity of the prompt. In general, a week should be expected for most pieces.

  • The time of delivery above is based on active buyer responses to my inquiries and updates, delay may arise if not.

  • Delay may arise depending on factors such as : order of commission, complexity, health, work, or family.

  • If delays arise, you will be notified.

  • Rush orders are allowed, but will incur an additional charge of 50% of the total cost.

  • For the final delivery, you will receive a full resolution PNG of the final piece with my signature, as well as a smaller web version via email. You may request additional versions if need be. If the file is too large, it may be shared via a Google Drive link to preserve quality.

Refunds & Cancellations

  • If you wish to cancel your commission and be refunded before work begins on your piece, you will be refunded the full amount that has been already paid.

  • If a refund is requested after work begins on your piece, the amount refunded will be calculated based on how much of the piece is completed.

  • A refund may not be issued if the percentage of the piece’s completion exceeds 50% .

  • If for any reason I need to cancel your commission, a full refund will be provided.

Usage Rights

The commissioner reserves the right to–

  • Claim the rights to the character, but not the commissioned piece itself.

  • Share/Repost the artwork any place they see fit, with proper credit.

  • Print the artwork for personal use only.

The following is considered copyright infringement–

  • Reproducing/using copyrighted artwork commercially without my knowledge.

  • Claiming the artwork as your own.

  • Removing my signature from the artwork.

  • Changing the artwork without my consent.

That’s all! Thank you for taking the time to read my Terms of Service.
